Today, we take another nostalgic little swim down 'memory canal' with you, this time paying tribute, in a way, to a scene from another classic 1950's movie. Although the actual real scene did not feature any underwater activity at all, I wonder how many of you still remember the time during the movie 'High Society' when the late, great Princess Grace (Grace Kelly) teased you all by sitting on the edge of a wonderful big swimming pool, wearing a gorgeous white skirted, one piece swimsuit and playing with her white chin strapped rubber bathing cap ? Well, for all of those who so wanted to see her eventually put that cap on and dive into the water - who better to bring you such fantasy underwater erotica than our own 'truly lovely', blonde bombshell - Mermaid Elise ! 1930's Underwater Erotica.
Here's one for all of our many Bathing Cap fans ! It should also appeal to those of you who love underwater images of girls wearing vintage one-piece swimsuits whilst free swimming and diving and showing beautiful underwater faces without any distractions like goggles or noseclips. Swim Retro in White !
When a new Mermaid joins us we always like to shoot and feature her, during her first underwater session, in as many of the most popular themes enjoyed by our members, as possible. I know that many of you love the 'Vintage Swimgirl' look from fifty to sixty years ago, indeed many of those wonderful one piece bathing suits can still hold their own on any beach or pool terrace today ! So, tonight we take great pleasure in bringing you another dip into Aquawomen's unique style of aquatic nostalgia, featuring our stunning new Mermaid Sophia, wearing a fantastic white Esther Williams original one piece from around 1954, along with a matching US Royal vintage rubber bathing cap. To appeal to both different tastes you will see her both with and without a synchro noseclip.

Yellow and Retro !
As winter once more takes over the northern hemisphere, lets try and rekindle some aquatic sunshine to be enjoyed all around the globe ! Our video on the same theme certainly proved popular with many voting members so, here are the still images to accompany 'Those Halcyon Days of Aquawomen' - featuring our truly aqualiscious Mermaid Elise, looking adorably dressed in her bright yellow 1950's one piece bathing suit and bathing cap combination, an outfit that would look so 'at home' in any Busby Berkeley Water Ballet. Dunk Me !
OK, so this one's for the non scuba guys, especially the Bathing Cap guys and even more especially those who love Dunking ! Yep, finally this one is especially for you Bill - and I hope for the enjoyment of many others also ? Ask any woman what her favorite swimsuit color is and the majority are always likely to answer - Black. And so it has been for many, many years. From our feedback, it seems to be an opinion shared by many guys also ! Borensen's Dunking Babes !
First of all, I must mention that this is a smaller set than usual because it is a Bonus set ! Your normal updates will be coming as usual this week and in addition to this one! We take the matter of image quality very seriously here at Aquawomen and always try hard to ensure you get the finest we can give you. Occasionally, a set of pictures does not meet our quality control standards and so these then get 'axed' and not placed on our website. This may be for a variety of different reasons. This is what we originally intended for all of the pictures on this set but, because we are aware this caused disappointment to several of our much valued members, we re-looked at them all and selected twenty that we felt it would be a shame just to 'bin'. We know that 'dunking' is a subject that many of you enjoy and so we thought you might like to have them instead, as a bonus from us ? So, please enjoy our captivating, red-hot Mermaids Vasilisa and Jenny, wearing black vintage one piece swimsuits and white bathing caps, as they dunk each other mercilessly in the pool !

The specialists will recognize and appreciate the genuine rubber bathing caps, as worn by women swimmers around fifty years ago, others may love to see the matching Esther Willams' classic 'sheath' one piece bathing suits ? Mermaid in a Bathing Cap !
One of the first things we like to do with all new Mermaids is make sure they are perfectly comfortable and relaxed whilst underwater, in front of the cameras, in the Aquawomen pool. Having read how much many of you enjoyed the previous 'Bathing Cap Bubbles' video and gallery, we thought we would combine more images of our 'breathtaking' new Mermaid Lizzy with a new gallery along that theme. Certainly one that should appeal to the Bathing Cap fans and also those who simply like pictures of beautiful girls holding their breath underwater........... with a sprinkling of puffy cheeks............ and plenty of bubbles ! It's not easy to look so attractive in a bathing cap, even a rare one like Lizzy's 1960's Britmarine Trident, but our new stunning Aquawoman manages it 'perfecto' !

Underwater (Bathing) Cap-Fight !
Tonight's update will appeal to those of you who love to see our gorgeous young Mermaids wearing vintage one piece swimsuits, along with retro rubber bathing caps and also to those who love to see a good Dunking fight ! As you will know from the past, all new Mermaids must go through the Aquawomen initiation process and so it was unfortunate for FiFi to be paired with our 'Queen of the Dunkers' - Mermaid Fi on this occasion! Feeling gracious, Fi permits FiFi to initially show us what she can do but, pretty soon the tables are turned and poor FiFi finds herself being relentlessly submerged and held under by the more experienced Aquawoman. Petals in the Pool !
Back to those wonderful old days when Hollywood glamor in the pool certainly seemed to leave a lasting impact on many of our older members - and is now widely appreciated by lots of the younger ones too ! Remember Shirley Eaton in "Around the World Under the Sea" ? Or perhaps Ulla Stromstedt in several different episodes of Flipper ? Vintage Swimwear in the Shower !
Mermaid Sammie, Water and Rubber just seem to go together so perfectly! In a few days time this amazing Aquawoman will be back under the water with us for a new photoshoot, wearing a selection of her heavier rubber 'Frogwoman' gear. (! Meanwhile, it's up on the surface for tonight's update and fulfilling the specific wishes of a long standing member we see the stunning and so versatile Sammie enjoying a long warm shower, after her swim. Initially still wearing a rare 1950's white Suba-Seal bathing cap along with a very sexy black Catalina one piece swimsuit from the same era, Sammie slowly undresses whilst the warm water cascades over her head and body.......we shot this one on video also !

Bathing (Cap) Belles !
Now, just in case all of our Bathing Cap fans are feeling a little neglected, tonight's update is just for you. In fact, it's a double bonus as there are two beautiful Aquawomen featured and they're both wearing vintage white rubber, chin strapped bathing caps ! We thought we would do something a little different for you this evening and try to match the style of picture more with the era from the vintage swimwear being worn by our beautiful young Aquawoman Fi. As both her US Howland bathing cap and Esther Williams swimsuit date back to the 1950's, it seemed appropriate that this gallery should show imagery in Black and White. It's certainly one for all of our vintage rubber bathing cap fans, along with those who love, classic, black, retro swimsuits, perhaps ?
The Days of Water Ballet !
Anyone remember the days when Synchronized Swimming was called Water Ballet? And all of the girls usually wore black one piece bathing suits, along with traditional white rubber bathing caps? Even today it is still compulsory to wear a black swimsuit and a white swim cap in certain synchro competition disciplines, which is why it was real fun for our stunning resident 'Synchro Aquawoman' Elle to dress in a swimsuit and bathing cap from those times 50 years ago and pose for a wonderful selection of 'nostalgia' underwater images...... just for you.
